Bookshelf With Sliding Door

Our White-Primed Bookshelf Barn Door merges storage and style in an elegant design. This practical door features built-in shelving for books or decorative items, enhanced by a clean white-primed finish that turns entryways into functional statement pieces. Perfect for small spaces, it glides smoothly on a barn door track while offering smart storage solutions.

This is my first Wayfair review, although not my first purchase. I absolutely love everything about this door! It is heavy and sturdy, and it slides well for open and close. I will be drilling a few small holes on the shelf side, for hooks to store car keys and other items to have handy by the front door. It’s exactly what I pictured for my space. However, I gave this a 4-star due to the unclear instructions. It took my husband and me over an hour to put the door together, and then an afternoon to install it. This is definitely a two-person job! I really wish companies would understand that most of us aren’t assemblers by nature, and that step-by step photos and super-specific instructions go a long way towards a customer’s satisfaction. After all, I’m hoping to only have to assemble one barn door in my lifetime, and I assume this is true for most of us! . Kristen. Rapid River, MI. Mon May 18 2026

I was accidentally sent identical sliding doors rather than the design shown in the image, and I was disappointed, but after contacting customer service, they were very helpful and gave me a partial refund. I ended up DIYing the bookcase and turned it into my own thing, and I love the outcome. It's just a little wobbly, maybe because I didn't use the wall mount or follow the instructions 100%? Elevate your space with our versatile, rustic bookcase. Perfect for showcasing your favorite items or organizing essentials, this sturdy piece with a warm wood finish promises style, function, and easy assembly. Adapt it for your office, living room, or entryway - experience the blend of timeless and modern utility.

We are using this as a shoe cabinet. Wayfair calls it a bookshelf, but I don’t think I would ever recommend it for books — the shelves are not adjustable and are way too short for books. They are perfect for our shoes, though! Even our boots fit nicely on the taller shelves. I am giving four stars because the construction of the doors, though cute, is not very sturdy at all. If you have active pets or kids I think they’re likely to break easily. Hopefully ours hold up since it’s in an out of the way location in our home, but only time will tell. Otherwise, we’re very happy with it as an organizational home for our shoe collection.. Holly. Rockford, IL. Tue Apr 07 2026
