It’s exactly what we wanted. Just a heads up, it's medium height, not a tall bookcase. We have a low TV stand with a 65" TV on it, and putting this next to it makes them about the same height. The finish is pretty much what you’d expect for the price, super balanced. It definitely has some character. The lights are magnetic and USB-rechargeable, so you don't have to worry about running a cord from the unit to an outlet. The inside shelves are adjustable. I’d recommend going with Wayfair Pro for the assembly; it’s not impossible to do it yourself, but it’s a long process and you'll need two people at some point.
