Bookcase With Drop Lid Desk

This armoire desk brings a functional workstation into your space with plenty of hidden storage. It's crafted with a solid and engineered wood frame to handle all your daily paperwork and projects. The design features built-in electrical and USB outlets to keep your devices charged, while integrated LED lighting on a dimmer lets you adjust the brightness as you work. A pull-out tray and keyboard tray expand your surface area when needed. Plus, the cabinet doors shut completely to keep your laptop and clutter out of sight when you're done for the day.

Overall, I absolutely love this desk! It did arrive with a few minor issues that Wayfair rectified. This is a solid piece of furniture. I would definitely recommend paying for the delivery and setup. The two compartments on the top lift up to open but sadly they do not lock in place to remain open, which could be a little inconvenient but there is a slow close on it so it does not slam closed. **TIP** there is a piece that covers the top so you can possibly sit items up there that is probably some type of mdf board and it probably blends in with the packaging and mine was thrown out, so just be mindful and ask for that piece. That is the only reason for the four stars.. Taji. Nanuet, NY. Fri Jun 19 2026

This 2-piece writing desk and hutch set maximizes vertical storage to keep your home office productive and clutter-free. Built from solid poplar and birch, the upper hutch features three tiers of adjustable shelving for displaying favorite books and decorative accents. Down below, two drawers glide out on smooth ball-bearing tracks to tuck away stationery, while a drop-down keyboard tray frees up valuable surface area on the solid wood desktop. Integrated USB ports offer convenient device charging. Plus, built-in floor levelers help keep the modular unit stable on uneven flooring.

The desk looks great and is a nice size, but it is missing a couple of pieces so it can't be put together. I would have given it a 5 if it weren't for that. Easy to put together except for the missing parts that are supposed to be part of the desk not pieces included in the parts bag.. Gayle. Chandler, AZ. Mon Jul 27 2026

This desk is beautiful and well-made. The delivery was quick and easy. Highly recommend.. Amy. Windham, NH. Mon Sep 14 2026

The desk is a practical and particularly space-saving workspace. With its shallow depth, it ensures the best use of space, e.g. in a corridor. The large worktop can be folded down gently thanks to two high-pressure dampers. Behind the door are a practical laptop compartment and a storage shelf. Side pockets, which are also suitable for a PC, and shelves behind the worktop expand the storage space of the desk. The modern high-gloss surface of this media center is easy to clean.

Beautiful design - perfect desk for a smaller space. Desk surface folds up sleek neat. Nice storage spaces too. Assembly did take some time, but it’s a special piece.. Sarah. New York, NY. Mon Jun 29 2026

This classic secretary desk has a small design, making it an ideal choice for compact spaces. It's made from a blend of solid and engineered wood, and it rests on ogee-style bracket feet. The finish reveals the wood's grain variation (knots and all) for plenty of French country charm in your living room or bedroom. This desk is crafted with mortise and tenon joinery for a well-made touch. We love that the drawers give you a place to stash papers, pens, and other office supplies, while a drop-down front reveals space for your laptop and additional items. Best of all, no assembly is required, so you don't have to wait to tackle that project.

Love it! It's just what I need. (Could have wished for better delivery service, though. FedEx just left the box on my sidewalk (even though I was home), and there was no way I could move it myself (am a senior). I eventually enlisted the help of a friend plus a neighbor to get the box inside.... and it was about to rain at the time.) But I still love the desk!. Elaine. Winnipeg, MB. Mon Sep 21 2026

Inspired by Charleston's classic coastal charm and rich history, this venerable secretary is finished in the heirloom-quality black cherry dark patina. Accented by hand painting on the drop-front lid, the secretary features a robust leather writing insert, 3 cubbies for storage, and 3 small drawers behind the drop-front, along with 3 lower drawers with self-closing drawer guides and cherry-colored interiors—pewter-colored pulls.

Feels like an antique one might purchase in Charleston. Very heavy. Had it in a bedroom and it worked as a desk and side table next to a bed. Now, it sits by the door for keys and mail as we enter the house. It works beautifully in that new spot as well.. M. Florida. Sun Aug 23 2026

The hutch is nice and looks and works as expected. The only thing is the hardware package was missing the pistons needed to install the work surface so it can open down. Desk, TV, bed, fireplace, and décor are not included.

The end caps were two narrow causing the backing to pop and the screw in the top to break through the side. Wayfair was willing to send me new end caps and I sent pictures showing the damage. It has been a month and the new parts have still not arrived, even with several interactions with Wayfair. They promised they would come and I'm waiting for the second time with fingers crossed..
