For what this is,, an inexpensive, tall narrow bookcase, it is decent. It is very hard to find the case the arrow so I was glad for it. But it’s definitely laminate MDF wood. For the price in the particular use, I needed it for it works really well. Also, I wasn’t sure if I would like the black interior, but it’s actually nice and makes it look a little more expensive than if it was all fake walnut MDF on the inside.. Leslie. Valley Village, CA. This was initially going to be a 1 star review because when the bookcase arrived, every shelf and the bottom of the bookcase was damaged. I changed it to 4 stars because of how great the product support has been. I submitted the issue to wayfair and they put me in touch with the manufacturer, who offered to send a replacement if I sent the damaged one back. I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of returning such a large item so I asked for a partial refund and they offered 25 back, which I felt like was fair. They also responded every time in a timely manner. So while the product did arrive damaged, customer service was excellent and this experience won’t deter me from ordering from wayfair again.. The bookcase itself is very nice, but some holes didn't line up when putting it together. Also the top portion and the bottom portion do not line up flush across the front. They are offset from each other. I did not see anything explaining that the pegs that hold the shelves are made of plastic. I have bought other bookcases that use pegs to set the shelves onto, but they are metal.. Jane. Warren, OH. Sat Jun 27 2026

This bookcase with the drawer is exactly what I was looking for! I love having the drawer to hide some things along with the two open shelves. It is a heavy piece of furniture which is nice. I will have to say that the instructions weren’t the easiest to understand and I’m a little disappointed with the way the drawer is sticking out a little on one side. I need to see if it can be adjusted. Overall I’m happy with it.. Hallie. Baden, PA. Wed Oct 07 2026

I love just about everything about this little bookshelf. It is a beautiful blue color and just the right size. Assembly was easy and I love that the back isn't cardboard. My one issue is there were 2 small areas where paint was scraped off when I received it. And within 2 days it already has a small chip of paint off the front edge.. Jacqueline. Jefferson City, MO. The touch feeling is smooth, and it will be stain-resistant, just wipe with wet cloth could take good care of it.

The cabinet itself is beautiful (nice warm dark brown) and was easy for me (at 73 yrs old) to assemble. I just wish that they would come with a kit with two small screw drivers to assemble. I only found one small chip on the backside corner of the cabinet. It was easy for me to lift and put into place. I really wish I could have found it at 17 inches wide. Anything more would have been too wide but 15 inches wide worked well.. Dolores. US. Sun Sep 13 2026

Overall, this is very pretty. Had some trouble with one of the feet not being as sturdy as I feel it should be.
