Generally pretty happy with this. Feels solid, instructions were clear, easy to put together. Only issue was that on the middle shelf, not sure if the pilot holes underneath weren't deep enough, but the screws to secure it to the bar ended up creating enough pressure that it pushed a point up and cracked the finish, and the screws hadn't even gone in all the way yet. But not major enough to really notice unless you look closely. I enjoy the simple and minimalistic design that allowed me to avoid creating holes to put up shelves while still having shelves.. Jose. The bookcase was fairly easy to put together, though it probably would have gone faster if my dog Unni had not been trying to “help” during assembly. It ended up being a little smaller than I originally expected, but that was on me for not checking the dimensions closely enough before ordering. In the end, it worked out well as a compact bookshelf for the bedroom. One of my favorite features is the built in lighting. The brightness is adjustable, which makes it great for softer nighttime lighting. I personally don’t use the touch slider controls very often because it also comes with a remote, which is honestly really convenient since I can adjust the lights without getting out of bed.
