Item looks great! I had an Angi contractor build it (Jonathan H). At first, there was a piece missing. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me an entire new bookcase because they didn’t have just the piece itself. They then refunded me for the contractor’s wasted visit, so I was able to hire him again and have him finish building the unit. It took him several hours and I am very glad that I hired him to build it. It is a very sturdy piece of furniture. Plenty of space and exactly what I wanted. These are good looking sturdy shelves for the price. They work for my purposes but aren't the finest of finishes. Some of the powerdercoating on the metal arches/supports was scratched/flaked off. It's not very noticable unless upclose and looking but the two I ordered came like that out of the box. The bolts are also noticable which isn't the most luxurious of finishes.. Christina. I really like it. Completes my reading nook. I took off one star because the front border pieces seemed flimsy and the attachment not well thought out. Also, the faux wood wrap was lifting along this area.
