Here’s my honest take: The contoured shape really does wonders for my neck and shoulders. I’m a side sleeper, and I’ve noticed a significant reduction in my usual morning stiffness. The Serene Foam is pretty impressive - it’s supportive without feeling like you’re sleeping on a rock. One thing that really stands out is how cool it stays throughout the night. I tend to run hot, but this pillow doesn’t trap heat like my old memory foam one did. It’s like it breathes or something. The cover is nice and soft, and being able to toss it in the wash is a big plus. I was a bit skeptical about the whole “Active Air Technology” thing, but I have to admit, it seems to work. It’s not perfect - it took me a couple of nights to get used to the contour shape, and if you’re someone who likes to squish your pillow into different shapes, this isn’t for you. So I had to knock a star off because I really do love these pillows. I love how soft they are. I love how cooling they are. I do love that their memory foam and they have that shredded memory foam but here’s the problem. They have way too much foam so I didn’t get as much of a factory smell as I thought I would have and I’m not gonna put these out in the blazing hundred degree heat sun that we have had so I put it in front of my air purifier because that way it just pulls the smell directly to it and then put clean air back into my Bedroom, but it has way too much foam so I pulled some of it out and put it in the other pillow, so I just use the other one for my feet or something, but I’m not gonna return them. I still love them. Maybe it’ll take me some time to get used to these, but when I do like kind of push it down and kind of adjust it a little bit. They’re actually pretty comfortable on your back or to the side if you’re sleeping that way, they might be a little bit comfortable but like I said it takes some time getting used to these cause I’m not used to these kinds of pillows from my other bamboo pillow that has kind of SHRINK on me and bamboo got flat however, these are pretty cool pillows, but I’m not gonna return these and go through the hassle, but I’m glad that these pillows exist. because they’re way better than the other pillows I’ve had for a while. I bought this latex pillow to replace my OMNIA pillow which was killing my neck and making me miserable. This Coyuchi latex pillow has been amazing! Slept on it all night the first time (no need to ease into it). It's bouncy (like pudding) but it still has neck support. This is the best pillow I have EVER used! I was having terrible neck and shoulder pain because I kept sIipping down my regular memory foam pillows.
