This File cabinet is very pretty but has been dropped ! The drawer is not opening properly and the top is not attached on the right side. The back corner of the top is smashed! Going for that traditional look and feel? This piece will meet your modern-day needs while staying true to its heritage. A combination of functionality and classic style; each piece has been hand built to a superior standard by craftsmen, using only FSC-certified recycled or reclaimed wood. The discarded wood is collected, and old nails are removed prior to being kiln dried for 26 days. These items are then produced in old English carpentry style with up to 18 hand-brushed multi-step finishes.

Love it - and it would have been perfect had it not arrived cracked. The quality is really nice, good solid wood, and the file hangers are good quality too. It was too heavy to ship back so Wayfair was gracious enough to give me a refund - thanks Wayfair!. Laura. Bay Roberts, NL. Wed May 13 2026

Love this file cabinet! It’s stable and sturdy. Not the easiest to assemble, though. If I hadn’t had experience with some of the hardware, I wouldn’t have known what to do. Also had no idea the side rails had to be taken apart for installation - thanks to YouTube for showing me that one. Overall, a quality product but could benefit from better assembly instructions.. Not super sturdy but looks great. it will lean to one side slighty due to the weight of the file drawers vs the shelving. not super noticable but not easy to move to another location without fear of it falling apart.. Terry. New Albany, IN. Thu Oct 22 2026

Great file cabinet; perfect for my new retirement home office. I finally retired and moved into a vacant family cottage only partially furnished. I happily left behind old and outdated metal cabinet and mostly metal desk; looked forward to new upgrades. I know it will sound like hype, but I've learned the hard way. I buy lots of stuff online and when it comes to knocked down furniture I have to assemble, I bypass my prime options and go with Wayfair. This wood decorative two-drawer file cabinet is a perfect example. It arrived fast (actually a day early). Package and contents free of any damage, dings, dents or scratches. Assembly took a bit of time, but worth it. Instructions say two people; was just me, didn't rush. One small flaw was the final step. Task involved inserting the finished drawers into cabinet frame and screwing in last of two small machine screws, one each side of each drawer (to secure metal glides). Three went in with multiple tries to align screw with threaded hole in glide. The fourth wouldn't go; I opted to improvise with a small wood screw left over from additional spare bits that came with this cabinet (another reason why I go with Wayfair). A matching L-shaped desk is due today; can't wait.. Daniel. Sandwich, MA. Thu Oct 22 2026
