Light weight. Feels soft against skin. Wish it was longer on the side of the bed. It just touches the top of my blue bed skirt. Consider purchasing a bed skirt if you buy this quilt. Since the quilt is not long on each side without a bed skirt you would see bed frame, box spring and under the bed storage. The bed skirt frame, provides a cleaner look.. Jay. Carolina Beach, NC. Cool and crisp, this engineered stripe was inspired by traditional fouta textiles used in many Mediterranean countries for everything from towels to bedspreads. The updated interpretation for bedding is clean, classic, and comfortable in an all-cotton, heavyweight herringbone weave. The yarn-dyed stripes are soft, and medium weight with an accent of gray at the bed break. Standard shams echo the thinner stripes at the base of the bed and European shams are color-blocked with gray herringbone weave and blue chambray side borders. Accent pillows mix the stripe and solid fabrics enhanced with piecing, taping, and stitched details.
