This was definitely worth the wait! This wainscoting was so easy to install, it and was the perfect accent piece for this end wall. I love that it did not need to be nailed onto the wall, so filling nail holes and repainting was not needed. We used a common construction adhesive. Very impressed! These shiplap panels are great quality, real wood. Super easy to install, but I will caution, make sure it’s where you want it because the adhesive strips are no joke. I was thinking I maybe needed to reinforce with nails, but when I ripped the coating off the Sheetrock, I figured it was fine. lol they look amazing and I like that they are thinner than traditional shiplap. Easy to work with, process is a bit tedious and time Consuming due to prep work and finishing details. We chose to attach to the wall using a brad nailer instead of glue to avoid wall damage if neededwant to remove in the future. So we had to caulk the seams as well as the nail holes, then sand, and we finishes it with two coats of our wall color in a glossier finish.
