This bench is a beautifully crafted piece that will serve as a dining bench in the breakfast room of our mountain house. It is heavy and stable. (about 70 pounds). Can seat 3 kids...The alder top finish looks very red and I may have to stain it darker as it doesn't match my alder pieces. The packing was overkill and very difficult to unpack. I just had this delivered and I am very pleased with it. It was an expensive piece but in my opinion worth the money. Looks very high quality and well made. The chair is beautiful, heavy and well made. The problem is the finish. The chair is made of real twigs but the finish makes it look like resin. It's shiny, and that makes it look fake.
