These blackout curtains are made with really good-quality materials and they do an excellent job blocking out the light. They look great in the room and help create a cozy, private space. I wanted blackout curtains, and these work great! (refer to the picture). The quality feels good -- not flimsy at all. I just hung them to get the creases out, and that seems to work well. Some commenters complain that the curtains arrive with wrinkles that don't iron out. True, they come out of the box wrinkled, but washing them in a front loader on "warm" and tumble drying on "low" removed the bigger creases. A steam iron removed most of the smaller wrinkles. A few days of hanging on the curtain rod was enough to relax the rest. I assume that the light blocking weave has something to do with the stubborn wrinkles. These curtains look and feel like luxury. They are quite heavy so you can’t get away with not anchoring the curtain rod to the wall (I learned this the hard way). This may be obvious based on the material, but not great if you have cats or pets that can be in close contact, pet fur sticks to them and it’s hard to remove.
