Reasonably easy to assemble. A couple steps it is helpful to have a second person. Close attention to photos will assure proper assembly. A ladder is helpful to attach top screws. Wear older clothing as some stain could come off on clothes (it is mostly dry). Looks good. I found the anchors bent in when hammering them down, so I could not get them flush with the wood, which provides less stability. Overall very pleased with arbor. IMPORTANT: Use caution when ordering by size. These are normally listed by their interior walk through measurements. In my case, after speaking with the manufacturer, I ordered the 60" Arbor to get what is listed by every other seller of their product as a 48" arbor, as the 60" arbor has a 48" width inside. This arbor is exactly what I wanted for my native honeysuckle: solid wood, salt treated, not flimsy. Rounded edges, anchors included. I have very sandy soil where I put this arbor so I had to use extra anchors: 4 foot rebar pounded almost 3 feet in, and I think that'll do unless we get some serious weather.
