I had a plan to cover a damaged popcorn ceiling with this type of acoustic panel. I ordered samples from four different brands and these were my favorite. What sets these panels apart from the others is the finish. It is a smooth finish with no variation in the sheen. As it turns out, I cannot use these tiles on my ceiling because it’s slanted and the panels are not very flexible. I was under the impression that, because the backing is felt, it would accommodate a slanted ceiling but it won’t. I am able to slightly bend the panels but not enough to match the slant of the ceiling. Once I figure out a place to use these, this is the brand I will buy more of. I definitely recommend!. Janel.
