This three-seater Chesterfield sofa is made of faux leather. It is durable, easy to clean and maintain. The sofa's classic rolled arm design is elegant and generous, with smooth and natural lines. Tufted of the armrests and backrest is not only aesthetically pleasing but also adds structural stability, with high elastic sponge cushion, sitting feeling more comfortable.
I bought this black leather sofa because I liked the classic look of the rolled arms. Now that weāve put it together, Iām happy with how it looks and think the quality is good for the price. The assembly took more patience than I expected, though, and Iād definitely plan on having two people there to put it together.
There are no nuts or bolts to deal with. The arms and back slide into brackets, which sounds simple until youāre trying to hold everything in place and get the brackets lined up at the same time. It took us a while to figure out how the first piece was supposed to slide in. Once we got that one figured out, the other two pieces went on pretty easily. Having one person hold the piece steady while the other lined it up made a big difference.
The seat cushion covers take some work, too. In my photos, Iāve put the cover on one cushion, and the other two are still uncovered so you can see the difference. Getting the cushion inside the cover was only part of it. I had to work it into the corners and shift it around a little to get it sitting just right. Iād give yourself some extra time for that part, especially if youāre expecting to just slip the covers on and be done.
Overall, Iād buy it again. I like the way it looks, especially the rolled arms, and for what I paid, Iām satisfied with the quality. My first impression is that itās a good sofa for the money. Iāve only just put it together, so time will tell how it holds up with regular use.. Deanna. New Martinsville, WV. Thu Nov 05 2026
