This bed pairs a minimal silhouette with a breezy design that complements your coastal farmhouse decor. Its frame is made from metal, and it has a black finish that blends in with a variety of color palettes. The rounded headboard and footboard showcase openwork designs and slender spindle accents for a classic touch in your space. And extra space underneath lets you tuck away boxes and storage bins. But what we really love is that this bed arrives with center support legs and a metal slat kit that prop up your box spring and mattress (not included).

Cute little bed. Perfect for a small guest room.. Stephanie. Sugar Hill, GA. Tue Sep 03 2024

This spindle bed has a distinctively vintage design, right at home in any main bedroom or guest room. It's thoughtfully crafted from solid wood, and comes in a variety of hues to fit your room's style and color scheme. Our favorite part is the combination of a spindle-style headboard and footboard, which are connected by a simple slat system. They both strike rectangular silhouettes with rounded edges for a welcoming feel overall.

Very solid frame. The biggest issue we had was not being aware that this bed needed a box frame. I assumed it came with slats to support the mattress, but was told that was not the case after contacting customer service about the issue. After having the frame for a month or so we have noticed a couple spots where the wood is splitting, but it's nothing that is deteriorating the sturdiness of the product. It is purely cosmetic, and nothing I am overly concerned about.. Alexandria. Reno, NV. Thu Jul 23 2026

Update your bedroom with this platform bed frame and all its traditional charm – plus, some modern practicality. It's crafted from steel in a classic silhouette and comes with wooden slats that eliminate the need for a box spring. The design features an elegant slatted headboard showcasing vintage-inspired turns details and a softly arching top, paired with a matching footboard to complete the look. What's more, the 10" under-bed clearance means there's also plenty of room for a couple storage bins.

I did a lot of research regarding the weight capacity of metal beds. We have a king size black beauty rest mattress that works best with box springs so the total mattress weight has to be around 200lbs. My husband and I combined are just under 400 lbs. so I wanted a minimum of 700 lbs to more than cover. Also my husband is 6’2” and I was concerned about his feet getting caught in the footboard. We tested it without the box springs because the bed doesn’t require those. He didn’t have any issues but we ended up adding the box springs anyway. Now the bed with the springs goes higher than the footboard. The mattress height alone is 14 inches and box springs add about 4 inches. The bed frame is heavy at just under 103 pounds so that was important. I didn’t want a lightweight frame. The decor on the head and footboard is beautiful, gives an antique vibe like the bed my grandmother had but no squeaking. We have slept on this for just under a week and there is no sound. We were able to put this together is about twenty minutes. The instructions are clear with numbers for connecting pieces that slid into place easily. We did use the rubber mallet included to secure each piece. Love the bed, very happy with the sturdiness and look.. Linda. Kansas City, MO. Thu Sep 10 2026

A perfect big boy bed!. Kimberly. Worcester, MA. Thu Jun 11 2026

From its sculptural silhouette to its spindle side posts, this classic bed frame brings French country style to your main bedroom or guest room. It's made from solid and engineered wood with a black finish, and it rests on traditional turned legs. We love how the curved cutouts on the headboard add an extra layer of timeless style to your space. A convenient wooden slat system eliminates the need for a box spring. And underbed clearance lets you tuck away bins and boxes. Plus, this bed is complete when you add the mattress of your choice (sold separately).

Overall good quality. Easy to put together. Great value for the price! The bed slats are a bit unsupportive for our mattress, but we had bed supports from our old bed that we were able to put on top of them.. Anonymous. Mon Jul 13 2026

Develop your personal haven with the radiant beauty of the Brantley platform bed. Made in Malaysia, this farmhouse inspired piece is crafted from sturdy wood. What a lovely bed! We have slept on it for the past few nights now, and it seems to be sturdy and of good quality. It holds our Avocado mattress and topper nicely, no box spring needed. I’ve actually slept much better these past few nights, and it seems to be because this bed sits lower to the floor than our previous platform bed. We’ve been wanting to switch to a post bed and this one fit the bill as it doesn’t have a rail at the footboard to accommodate our bed fan. Great purchase!. Kristie. Sheffield, AL. Tue Jul 28 2026

This 3-piece bedroom set brings classic charm and functional organization to your space. Sturdy bed, great value, and beautiful in our guest room - exactly what we were looking for!. Jen. Brentwood, TN. Sun Aug 16 2026

This platform bed updates your home with a vintage-inspired look that blends seamlessly into any traditional or farmhouse setup. Constructed from steel, it features a slatted headboard and footboard that introduce an airy, open profile to your arrangement. Center support legs work alongside the perimeter frame to deliver a stable sleeping foundation that handles everyday use smoothly. Because the system includes its own steel slats, your mattress rests directly on the base to simplify your setup. Plus, it features an adjustable headboard height so you can easily customize the clearance to suit your specific mattress thickness.

The bed frame is simple but quite pretty and sturdy. The low profile footboard doesn’t cut into a small room - helps to keep it open. And there are two height choices. The taller choice allows for a nice space underneath for storage. The only thing I worry about is the plastic spacers that keep the crossbars for the platform in place. If a person needed to take the bed apart for any reason, I would worry that those spacers would wear out.. Michele. Harlingen, TX. Thu May 14 2026

The Vintage Market Complete High/Low Poster Bed in queen size brings timeless country style with its unique high/low post design and barnwood oak finish. This bed creates a warm, inviting centerpiece that complements a cozy, family-oriented bedroom. Its classic yet versatile aesthetic helps you embrace a comforting lifestyle while enjoying lasting craftsmanship.

This bed is beautiful, super tall, and sturdy! The only reason I’m rating it 4 stars is because the bed comes with a distressed texture that is not specified in the listing - nor can you see from the pics provided. Love the bed, just wish it was a smooth, cohesive texture without the sanded edges and dings. Overall great purchase!. Anna. Spindale, NC. Fri Jul 24 2026

Beautiful bedframe super easy too build. Super easy to clean. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because we have an 8 Sleep mattress (heavier) had to lay down extra support beams. Will work perfectly with any normal mattress.. Haley. Hastings, MN. Wed Oct 07 2026
