Very comfortable with the curved seat. No need for a cushion. Assemnly was straight forward but needed some muscle to get the screws all the way in and the bolts tightened down. Rocks smoothly and is more spacious than I thought it would be as far as seat width. The back height is appreciated, too. Even my picky husband is pleased with the look and quality. This chair is very comfortable and a delight. Assembly really requires prior experience with schematics and understanding basic aspects of hardware. However, as the pics show, the upper/seat section is out of alignment with the lower/base portion; it's pushed to one side. That results in the upper frame knocking against the rear black glide "dog bone" part. I don't understand what would cause this skewing. I kept all fasteners not-tight until everything was assembled. I couldn’t be happier with this oversized rocking chair! Both my daughter (6) and I can actually fit on it together and exactly what I was looking for…comfortable, sturdy, and the perfect size for relaxing outside. Assembly was straightforward and fairly easy (although I did lose a bolt in the grass so I don’t recommend putting together in the grass) with clear instructions that made the process smooth. The quality exceeded my expectations, and I can already tell it’s going to get a lot of use. I also want to give a special shoutout to the Wayfair customer service team. I had a small issue with delivery, but they stepped in immediately and made the entire process incredibly smooth and stress-free. They were responsive, helpful, and truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was resolved quickly. Overall, I’m extremely happy with both the product and the service.
