This is a solid sconce. The size/scale are perfect for small spaces or when a minimal look is preferred. I love the retro cord. My only comment, I received installation instructions for a hard wire by electrician. This sconce is intended to be a plug in, I didn't receive the instructions for that type of install. This is way better than I thought! They come really well packaged. And incredibly easy to put together. The back plate can easily be screwed into the wall (where there is no hardwiring yay!) and then the plates are magnetic so the base just slaps right onto it.
