Got this lamp as a great addition to my husband’s office. It looks great. The aesthetic is exactly what we were looking for. Just be prepared when it comes to assembly because it comes with a lot of small pieces that you have to put together. At first we thought the wood color was too dull but once you placed it with the lightbulb, it looks great. It also does not come with a lightbulb, which was very disappointing since most of the lampslighting fixtures that we get from Wayfair includes it so be prepared to buy your own. The pivoting directional shade feature a retro on-off switch mounted right on top for easy access and also have a retro fabric cord.

This lamp is complete junk! Isn’t worth more then 50! The description is wrong, the cord is just a plain cord, not fabric like stated. The screws don’t fit in the legs properly and they are silver so stand out on the black legs. The light bulb is way off center on the shade and you can’t change it as the shade is fixed. This is exactly what I was looking for to put in my dining room. It is absolutely lovely! I love the drum shade. It’s a true white. The lamp has a nice weight to it. Just take care when assembling it. You have to screw the pieces together, and you have to get them straight. A couple times I started to cross thread it. Luckily I didn’t ruin it.. Amy.
