This was perfect for the space! Once I trimmed some of the jasmine back I was able to nestle the arbor in and then cascade the remainder of the growth up over the top, creating a gorgeous addition to my yard! I purchased this to extend our usable space on our patio. It took 2 people about 5 hours in the Texas heat to put this together. We did have some experience with this type of assembly so that helped streamline things. It definitely needs to be anchored, but once it is the awning is quite stable. We love this addition and it looks great. An added, unforseen bonus being in Texas, it has helped keep my house much cooler by keeping the sun off of that portion of the house.. Anonymous. The actual dimensions are closer to 9x9, so measure accordingly. I had to use two panels to screen an unsightly view, and I am awaiting delivery of two more panels. I love the pattern of light filtered through the panels. For me, this was a perfect solution. I assembled with my BF in about 2.5 hours. The challenging part was the tight space we had to work.
