I wasn't sure if the pendants would provide the lighting needed but decided to give them a try. The quality and design for the price are good. They were easy to install where there already was wiring for pendants and took about 20 minutes. The 2nd picture shows the ring for adjusting the length. The 3rd picture is how they are packaged in the box which was surprising as the box was smaller than I expected. The instructions are adequate. Since 3 came to the set, 2 were hung in the kitchen and the 3rd is in the foyer. The amount of light they provide, especially at night is perfect for the kitchen and even provides some light to an adjacent room. This fixture is great! The perfect size and incredibly bright. I installed it by myself, which is always a bit challenging just in terms of holding everything up while attaching wires and screwing things back together, but a couple of notes 1. The cables that adjust the height are VERY long- if you plan on using them somewhere where they need to be much shorter (like in my case) you will need to cut them which involves cutting 2 cables and 3 electric wires which you will then need to strip, splice and tape thoroughly back together. 2. The “color” adjuster is inside the fixture, so you really can’t adjust it easily- I thought I had this turned all the way to warm, but it doesn’t look like it. It’s definitely very unusual light fixture. I wasn’t sure. I liked it when we put it on, but my husband and electrician absolutely love it. So we’re keeping it and I’m getting used to it. It’s not your normal, elegant light fixture. I would say it’s a little bulky, but again it’s could be just me. All the guys are absolutely love it. The only important thing I would like to mention that is the every single light poll has a protective film on it, which is attached really really strong. And we didn’t remove it before we hand it on.
