I wanted to give this 5 stars! The oil-rubbed bronze is the PERFECT tone in person (not too brown, more of a softwarm black but distinct from true black when placed next to it). Put the whole thing together myself except I can’t tell if this plastic thing needs to be removed. I don’t think the wires will fit otherwise. The instructions don’t specify and for an electrical noob such as myself it is mildly frustrating to have to wait for my husband to get home to finish the project. Nice fixture for the price. If you are not handy the directions will be difficult. There are things that could be explained more clearly regarding the mounting bracket and canopy ( the 2 different size screws should be marked on the directions, we them got mixed up so by the 5th attempt the light was finally up!).
