It's a really nice light but hangs very close to the wall. I have a mirror that has a metal frame that sticks out from the wall by about 2" (which I bought here) but the light doesn't clear that. The item arrived well packaged, and the glass has a bubble texture, high-quality thickness, and is a bit heavy (needing two people to hang it). The black metal frame has a factory finish coat and this light is simply beautiful! I highly recommend this light. NOTE the center metal arms did not appear to attach easily and kept twisting when I was trying to assemble it. After multiple attempts, I contacted customer service and the manufacturer told me to be secure tightly (top and bottom) one arm at a time working your way around the light fixture.
