Everything else fits great, the material is soft, and the elastic seems durable. because I have a thinner all around couch the cover looks a little baggy around the arms but the directions that came with the cover say to tuck excess material into the couch cushions. This is the best I've found to protect from my hounds. Is it really "non-slip"? Not really, but it holds on better than most under a dog that likes to roll around on my couch.
