I’ve been eyeing this dresser for about a year now, and I’m very happy with my purchase! The dresser is extremely heavy, sturdy, and well-made. It definitely doesn’t feel like a cheap piece of furniture that will break or fall apart quickly. It has a beautiful, high-end and elegant look that makes it feel much more expensive than it is. One thing I will mention is that the dresser is wider than I expected and also shorter than it appeared in the product images. That wasn’t necessarily a bad thing, just something I noticed once it arrived. My only real complaint, and the reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five, is the hardware. The handle knobs are somewhat loose, and some of them are already starting to show signs of wear. The knobs also appear more bronze up close, although from a distance they have more of a gold hue. The chest looks nice. The quality is good. However, the drawers only pull out about half way. Very weird. I thought about returning it but I can make it work. I read the reviews about the drawer problem but still ordered it because I liked it (I don't always trust the reviews). Also, in the product description the drawer dimensions are not listed. This chest is cute and looks great once assembled, but putting it together was definitely more difficult and time-consuming than expected. My biggest complaint is the drawer system. For safety, it only allows one drawer to be open at a time, which sounds nice in theory but is frustrating in everyday use. The drawers are very picky—you have to push a drawer completely closed, often with more force than should be necessary, before another drawer will open. If it’s even slightly out of place, the other drawers lock up. After using it for a while, this feature has become more annoying than helpful.
