I was worried the stand mixer would be hard to clean in the Cast Iron finish but it’s just the opposite! My old Matte Black Artisan showed finger prints & oil much more easily! It doesn’t seem lighter than my regular Artisan was, & it’s still pretty loud all the way up, due to the more powerful motor. Also the cord isn’t very long but now comes with a cord keeper band-a nice touch. The new attachments are heavier duty, easier to clean & work well.
