This double umbrella is huge!!! It took up my large lanai , and provides some really good shade. Really heavy and good quality. But you must have some sandbags to put on the base so it has stability. This umbrella is absolutely huge—great coverage, but definitely something to consider if you have a smaller patio. It takes up more space than you might expect. It’s extremely durable and very heavy, which makes it feel sturdy and secure. One thing that isn’t obvious in the product images is that the base is also massive. As you can see in my photos, it has a large footprint, so you’ll want to plan your layout accordingly. That said, the quality is excellent. At the 300 price point, you truly get what you pay for. This is by far the best market umbrella I’ve ever owned. I opted for the sunbrella fabric as it’s heavier than the other fabrics I’ve owned in the past (and did not last as long).This umbrella has a bronze colored pole and is operated by a hand crank although it does have an auto tilt feature. The auto tilt is amazing as you slowly keep cranking after the umbrella is fully extended, the auto tilt engages and the umbrella will automatically tilt. Once you start cranking in the opposite direction to close the umbrella, the auto tilt disengages and the umbrella stands upright so you can finish closing it. The pole has been a bit wobbly, but that was my choice to keep rotating it, I Until I moved it to a better location on my patio near my pool. . Once I moved it, tightened the pole on the base, I found it much better and happier that I bought it.. It does provide good sun and even rain protection. I lower when the forecast calls for rain, and wind. It looks res nice. Sunbrella fabrics are better than average and don’t fade. I also ordered the bronze weighted rose wheel base. Xx. It has a lock or so on the wheels. It could be wider than it is, for better stability on a windy day. It needs some extra weight on top to make sure it doesn’t blow over, with the umbrella closed.
