UPDATE..... Wayfair made good on the problem that I had with my floor lamp and sent me a replacement lamp pole/base. I truly love this lamp so much and it goes so well with my decor that a refund was not an option for me because I wanted another one or the replacement part. I am back to being one very happier customer. Oh my gosh, I have to edit my 5 star review to a now a 2 star. I have only owned it for less than a month and I went to move it today from my living room and into my dining room. As soon as I picked it up by the column with two hands, the base broke completely off of the column. It's like the once assembled you cannot lift it as the top 3/4 of the column is heavier than the base causing it to separate. I am devastated as I just love this lamp. This was my original review....This is a gorgeous lamp and it was super easy to assemble. The linen looking shade compliments the lamp perfectly and I couldn’t wait to buy a bulb to turn it on. Delivery was fast. Lamp is perfect and just as described. Love it!! The lamp was well packaged with base in one long box and lamp shade in another box. All you need to do is place the shade on the base, plug and light. I have two minor "cons" and one is that the wires in the shade show thru. Maybe that's supposed to be part of the 'look' but I think it looks cheap. The shade and the base are both well made and quite sturdy so overall I love the lamp. The other 'con' is the instructions for the light bulb. One description states the light should be incandescent and in another place it says type A 20 watt. There is no such thing as a type A 20 watt incandescent bulb and if there was, it would be barely better than a night light. I almost did not buy the lamp for fear it would require some odd ball bulb that would be too dim, but took a chance anyway. I have the light plugged into an outlet controlled by a dimmer wall switch. I put in a dimmable GE brand led bulb, 8.5 watt, 800 lumens which is equal to a 60 watt incandescent bulb. I could probably go higher with 100 equivalent, but I think it would not be good to go up to a 20 watt LED bulb without checking with an electrician (not sure they even make a 20 watt LED). They would likely sell more of these if they would correct the bulb requirements. Packaging was good and arrived undamaged and no missing pieces. This is completely disassembled. You even have to put the shade together with two metal rings, a rolled up shade and clips. The shade looks cheap. I will be buying a different one. I did like that the lightbulb was included and that you can change the warmth with the lamp switch. I absolutely love this lamp. I’m writing this review after having it a couple years and it has never had any issues. It’s the perfect size where it doesn’t get in the way but still has presence. The three fixtures float and are flexible, so they fall back into place if they get bumped. It uses a simple foot pedal to power onoff.
