This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. Great buy! Fits the space perfectly. Will be a very nice guest bed when needed. Quality is good. Very happy with purchase. Was easy to assemble, for the most part. Is difficult to move into position, but assuming because it's new. Cushion is comfortable, not firm, just squishy enough. Cushion is very very heavy, so will possibly need assistance when assembling.
