Few landmarks are more emblematic of midcentury glamour than the Beverly Hills Hotel in the 1950s. Captured in 1957, this photograph offers a quintessential view of Hollywood luxury, with vintage cars lined up beneath towering palms and the hotel’s iconic signage gleaming against the California sky. As a favorite retreat for film stars and studio moguls, the Pink Palace on Sunset Boulevard stood as a sanctuary of style, exclusivity, and West Coast sophistication. This image distills the spirit of an era when Beverly Hills was not just a destination but a cultural symbol of elegance and aspiration. Slim Aarons, renowned for his evocative photographs of, as he described it, "attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places," was the quintessential chronicler of high society. After serving as a war photographer, Aarons turned his lens to a new landscape: the glamorous lives of Hollywood elites, Palm Beach socialites, and jet-setting debutantes and princes. His work for society publications captured an aspirational world of leisure and luxury that defined the American upper class throughout the mid-20th century, creating images that remain timeless symbols of sophistication and style. The photograph is presented as a high-resolution scan of the photo's original photographic slide, complete with hand-lettered archival notations along the mount. Offered exclusively by Soicher Marin, this edition preserves the full character of the original format, transforming it into a striking piece of wall art that merges history, authenticity, and timeless style. More than a photograph, it is a curated artifact of American cultural glamour, bringing a refined yet playful sophistication to any well-appointed interior. Every piece in our unique Slim Aarons collection is meticulously handcrafted using archival materials and printed on premium, luster photographic paper with environmentally safe inks, custom framed by skilled artisans who ensure that each work of art meets the exacting standards befitting such an iconic photograph.

This 6-light-tiered chandelier makes a unique statement in your living room, dining area, or entryway. It showcases multiple tiers of dangling crystal accents around a metal frame that's finished in an antique bronze for contrast. We love the way the glow from the six candelabra-style bulbs (sold separately) is reflected off the crystals in an artful way. What's more, the height-adjustable downrod and dimmer switch compatibility make this chandelier both customizable and versatile. Hand-curated by Kelly Clarkson.

Beautiful but time consuming to hang each individual crystal. I’d say it’s worth it though.. Alexandra. Fort Wayne, IN. Sun Sep 20 2026
