This is a very substantial patio cushion. At 6.2 inches thick, it has noticeably more padding than most replacement cushions I’ve used, but the foam is firm enough that you don’t sink straight through it. The olefin cover feels durable and should hold up well outside, plus I like that it can be removed for cleaning. Mine arrived vacuum packed, so don’t judge it right out of the box. It needs a day or two to fully puff up and take shape. Once expanded, it looks and feels like a much more expensive cushion. The dark color gray is what I was looking for as well.. Jason. The cushions come compressed in one box… it felt like a race to cut them out of the double plastic wrap and then tuck them in their individual cover case before they open up to their size.
