I love the style of this chair and felt it was a good value for the pair. While it was packaged quite well and instructions were easy to follow, I did have to swap step 1 and 2 so that I could get the screw in the center back placed correctly. Do step 2 first but do not tighten all the way. Then do step 2 and tighten all those up. The swivel function is smooth when sitting in the chair. I needed a single desk chair so I will find a use for the other chair. I wish it fit with my style of dining table because they are a great dining chair and would be very sturdy. The barstools are so good and had everything I wanted! They are a height for my counter top in my kitchen. They have a back to make them more comfy.
