The assembly went well. The color is a darker gray, although it did say taupe. We’re keeping it for the fact that it’s still matches in our room. This chair replaced a loveseat that we didn’t need anymore. It accommodate a taller person with longer legs due to the dimensions of the cushion from knee to hip. it is a little lower to the ground than I anticipated, but it is doable. Just purchased these for my billiard room. Im 65 270 lbs. so finding comfortable furniture is not always easy. Assembly was not a problem. I first I thought it looked like a hair salon chair but then I like the slope of the arms it was similar to my main couch. And with the pillow it takes away some of that barber chair look. I will say that it does rocks which makes the leather a little more slippery and I’m not sure if that will make it less comfortable because you have to make an effort to not move it. April.
