Central to Chantal’s New Scandinavian Collection is the 1.4 qt Sven teakettle. Clean lines and natural wood help create a design that is distinctly Northern European. The blond wood handle and knob are made of 100% natural Rubberwood, a tropical tree that grows in the warm climate of Asia. The wood stays cool to the touch when boiling water and the light color beautifully accents the enamel finish of the teakettle’s body. Perfect for all cooktops, including magnetic induction.

I purchased the gray version of this tea kettle over five years ago. I was hesitant about spending so much on a tea kettle, but it’s attractive, has a significant whistle and does the job. There’s a little bit of staining on the bottom, but other than that, it looks like it the day I received it.. Mary. Medford, OR. Tue May 19 2026

Two-tone floral design: Flower is blue when water is cold, and pink with water boils. This lasts a few months before going to blue only. This adorable kettle capacity is 1000 ML or 5 cups, perfect for one or two people. The water heats quickly and the color-changing flowers are fascinating to watch, as well as a visual cue that it's hot. When hot, only hold handles, use a towel or mitten to avoid burn.

I absolutely love this kettle! It’s adorable. It changes color once it’s heated up, and is a wonderful addition to my new home. It has a cottage/fairytale essence to it. It took me a while to find something like this. I purchased the pink and green one. View the photo for size reference.. Anonymous. Mon Jul 15 2024

The smooth, flat base creates maximum contact for rapid boiling, and the extra-large opening allows for easy cleaning.

I love this tea kettle. The whistle is loud, but very pretty. I do not care for the sharp whistles of other kettles and this is the only one I have found that is both loud and pleasant to the ears. It is easy to fill and clean, doesn't drip, and looks great.. Elizabeth. Los Angeles, CA. Wed Apr 15 2026

Folks, is a fantastic kettle! Solid enamel, sturdy handle and whistle, and the gradient Sea Salt finish is flawless. It pours very well provided you open the spout when pouring, and I only say this because too many people don’t actually know how to use a whistling tea kettle! I have seen too many reviews, saying it leaks all over when pouring because they’re trying to pour through the whistle opening rather than the kettle opening! Honestly, some people should not be allowed to write reviews if they don’t understand how to use the simplest of products!! My first kettle is 20 years old and I only bought a new one because I changed my kitchen color scheme. Over the years that kettle heated water on gas, electric, and wood stoves with never a problem . Well worth the money, and with all the color options there’s something for everyone’s taste. This is a purchase you won’t regret!. Tracy Marie. Rapid River, MI. Wed Apr 29 2026
