The feel is soft and drapy unlike my other linen which are bouncy. I expected that this item would include the certification attesting that it is 100 percent linen but it does not even have a logo. The duvet without the insert looks just fine for me and I'm hoping it's not too heavy but since I live in the north I think it'll be just right. I also feel that since my bed is a queen I would have liked this duvet to be a little bit larger for more of an overhang, I should have ordered a king size just for the extra overhang.. I absolutely LOVE this quilt and it is large enough to hang 16" on each side! Very well made. I was concerned when the care tag said Dryer no heat. I machine washed on cool and dryer on 2 delicate cycles and it came out fine, no shrinkage or wrinkles. The pillow shams are large enough for a 6.4 inch thick Tempurpedic dual cooling pillow and has an inside envelope feature to hide pillowcase ends.
