I love this stand. I have a 9 foot umbrella and use this as a stand alone. I have a small corner Where I place the umbrella and stand, when not in use, to keep it safe from the wind. It seems to be really sturdy. It is not difficult to move because it’s not too heavy. There are 2 handles to place hands to move it. I have a 1 12 diameter pole. At first I thought the insert for it was too small but I tried again and it took some muscle to push it in.
