The bed is beautiful and sturdy. It was a little bit of a pain to put together but got it done in about an hour. My one complaint is it’s pretty low to the ground so I can’t fit my under bed storage and I can’t fit under it to retrieve cats. I’m debating on risers. Because of how the bed is designed they could have drilled holes several inches higher on the headboard and made the legs longer. Just two inches higher would make like easier. My only issue with this Clouchete Nadine is I didn't realize how copper colored the nailheads were. They don't describe the color in the description and when I zoomed in I thought they looked more burnished bronze. In person they are definitely copper like a penny. WOW! I am so happy with my purchase. I already owned a beautiful headboard (as you can see in the pictures) but I wanted an upholstered bed base. I had so much trouble finding one and was looking for a long time until I found this one on Wayfair. I was nervous about purchasing something this big online as it is so hard to tell from a picture but WOW it is great. This bed is beautiful. Great quality. Sturdy and well made. Heavy and solid materials. the fabric is a taupe or Greige color. I absolutely love this bed! I’ve had it for several years, and it still looks brand new. And we definitely haven’t been gentle with it - many kids have had plenty of fun jumping on this bed over the years, and it has held up beautifully! It does sit lower to the ground if you’re used to a higher-profile bed. I have a fairly thick mattress and don’t mind the lower profile at all, especially since I had younger kids when I purchased it. If you prefer a little extra height, adding a box spring or low-profile foundation could help. It’s very well made, sturdy, and has a clean, modern look. This bed is gorgeous. When it arrived the box was mangled so I was a little nervous but all the pieces were there and it came together. I do have a mark on the corner of the headboard and hoping for some assistance with trying to clean it. Bed does sit low to the ground do I had to get a 9” box spring to pump up the 14” mattress..
