I looked at rugs across 6 different sites for months - this one is absolutely perfect for what we needed. It looks exactly like the image. It does have a darker and lighter side (as most rugs do) depending on which way the pile is brushed, but the difference between the two is barely noticeable to me and neither side pulls a different tone. It is a true warm ivory and beige which is so difficult to find. There are NO GREY UNDERTONES in this rug. The high low pile elevates the look and feel as well which I love. The beige accent pulls warm brown without being dark which is also exactly what I wanted. We have a cool tone couch/coffee table currently so you can see from the contrast in the picture that it really does not have cool undertones at all. It is quite thin which is to be expected for the price and quality but feels great with the rug pad we ordered to go under it. It's very soft and feels great under bare feet. This really is a beautiful rug, it does say that it’s washable but the size I got is way too large so I will not be able to wash it in a standard machine. It does have more white in it than I expected so if you have young children or pets, you may wanna put it somewhere where it’s off-limits to them. I put mine in the guest room, which is not used on a frequent basis and the door is shut, so the animals cannot get in the color combination is extremely appealing.
