I gave this bowl 4 stars only because the color description is misleading. It says “brown”, but it actually looks like a rustic brown/gray./green. It’s ok and goes in my house but others might be expecting something different. It also is very rough - like unfired clay, but the look works for me. Apparently a lot of people loved this as it was on back order for about 6 weeks. I see why. This is a GORGEOUS bowl. I was looking for something to replace a piece I I had bought from Wayfair years ago - a glass urn on a metal base - that unfortunately broke. I have copper accents in my neutral grey and khaki/bisque living room - table lamps etc - and wanted something that would pull the grays, in the room, together with the copper. I looked everywhere and finally hit on this. It's perfect. The bowl is definitely a statement piece and works well in the room. It’s a painted bowl and it did have sloppy painting splashed on the inside, which is why I rated it four stars versus five.
