The chairs required installation and I had a heck of a time getting the plastic (usually wood) dowels into the holes! This is embarrassing to say, but I literally put them in the freezer for awhile and then used a hammer to get them placed in the dowel hole, otherwise I couldn't get them in. Once I figured that out, it went fairly smoothly and for 2 chairs, it took me ~20 min. The color matches my walnut dining table well. They are comfortable and modern. In this particular case when I got to the second box to put the chairs together there was no hardware packet inside. I went online and put in a complaint. Just got an email today stating the hardware packet should arrive on February 10, so we will see if they send the correct hardware. I don't think I have ever had a purchase from Wayfair that didn't have an issue with something. It is definitely common with this company. I still really like the chairs.
