It’s a pretty soft rug I just wish that they had been more careful when rolling it because it has a very stubborn crease in it. Love my new rug! It’s soft, does not slide around and the colors are not too bright or too light they are soft but has good pigment and shading reminds me of painting with water colors. This is a beautiful rug. It has a tight weave, but it has a nice, thick firmness to walk on. It is made very well. It is made of wool, but it has not shed like a lot of wool rugs do. I plan on putting this under a bed in a guest room. It is so pretty. I hate to hide it. I feel like you could get away without a rug pad because of the thickness of the rug.
