It was finally time to switch out my heavy quilt for my new lighter bedspread. I searched high and low for a split corner bedspread with longer sides and came across this one. It needed to be open to allow for the posters and legs an I wasn’t certain if the corners unbuttoned but, fortunately, they did. It’s perfect and a nice weight with a matching pillow and shams with buttons. I bought two cream throw pillows on this site and matching buttoned linen euro shams elsewhere and I think it looks great. I did wash everything before using and it all washed up great. Our luxurious bedspread is part of our collection of bedspreads, perfectly complementing most of our silk-plain bedlinen collections. The stitching is extremely soft and gives the comforter a quilted, decadent, and luxurious look.

This is a very substantial coverlet. It’s gorgeous but it is definitely a mild raspberry color. It’s fine with my bedding but if you want a more sand/cream this won’t do. Also, it’s polyester fill which I could kick myself for not reading. I would have preferred down. This will make you sweat for sure. But overall I think it works great.. Tracy. Fairhope, AL.
