First run was 2.5 hours, then shorter spurts with a 10 y/o "helping". It was not difficult to put together; the directions were actually very good. We have two pieces with cracks, but they seemed superficial and surface-level. One edge on the back was not trimmed to slide the backing in - had to take a knife to the plastic trim blocking the groove. The lights around the mirror have three color tones, plus you can adjust brightness. My daughter also loves the LED strip inside the glass top. I was a little concerned about ordering a 'do it yourself' furniture set based on reviews about missing parts, holes not lined up etc. I had never put together something like this before and although it took me a long time, there were no missing parts or damaged pieces, the instructions were clear and all predrilled holes etc in perfect alignment. The cabinet is well made and sturdy. My husband put it together within an hour or so. It looks nice and is the exact size I needed in my kitchen to fit my Gourmia oven. The drawer is not very tall but I guess if it were taller, you'd have less room underneath. But a cabinet maybe an inch taller so the drawer could be taller would have been preferred.
