Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by this set. I ordered it for my adult son's new apartment. He's on a budget so the set fit in nicely with that. It arrived very well-packed (no damage to boxes or contents) and it took us about 2.5 hours to put together everything. Even though it's not 'real' wood, the screws never split the wood. All the parts were neatly labeled and the instructions were written out in English. They were easy to follow. Overall, it's a great 'starter' set for a young adult or college student.
