This is an absolutely beautiful piece of furniture. It was packaged so well to prevent damage. It is VERY heavy so two people are needed to move it.. Maria. Kalispell, MT. Thu Oct 08 2026

Rustic, organic, and comforting, the Big Sky lateral file is finished in charred timber, evoking a forest's restorative and rugged beauty. Crafted of pecky hickory veneers and metal with a solid-edged top, the chest has two drawers, including a top utility drawer and a bottom locking file drawer with a Pendaflex letter/legal system. The metal legs and bail pulls are in dark brushed bronze, and the interior is black.

In all the orders of furniture we've had over the last 5 years, this was the best experience. The product was delivered in a reasonable amount of time and as expected. There was no damage to the furniture at all - it had even been inspected prior to leaving the warehouse. The three deliverymen were polite and did great job. The cabinet itself is gorgeous!. This 36 in. wide 2 drawer commercial grade lateral filing cabinet is designed for heavy duty use, yet looks great in any office. I was hesitant to purchase this file cabinet because of some of the reviews that cited poor packaging and damage to the cabinet. I am happy to report that the two-drawer, silver cabinet (MADE in the USA and already assembled!!!) was delivered in perfect condition and after figuring out how and where to place the hanging folder frames (included in the file drawers) and the cross bars (purchased separately thru Wayfair and described as the Hirsch Lateral Front to Back Rail Kit), I REALLY glad that I decided to buy this file cabinet. I am using the drawers for front-to-back, LETTER-sized hanging files. Because of the width of the cabinet, I used 2 cross bars in each drawer, which leaves about 6"of extra space in each drawer. This space cannot be used to put LEGAL-sized hanging file because the hanging folder frames are too far apart because of the positioning used to accommodate the letter-sized front-to-back hanging files. This is not a problem for me and the positioning can always be changed, if desired. You could use legal-size hanging files from front-to-back and there would be no extra space on each side. The cabinet is very sturdy, but I am going to purchase a piece of clear plastic to put on the top of the cabinet to prevent scratches. You can definitely place something on the top because the steel is very strong. There are 2 front gliders that can be adjusted to level the cabinet. There are 2 keys to lock the cabinet, and I am happy to report I can keep them in the cabinet until ready to use because this is not a push-in lock (thank goodness); you must lock it with the key, so it cannot be accidentally locked with the keys inside (which happened to me with my kids and another file cabinet). Both drawers lock with the one lock. There are also 2 plastic, magnetic strips you can place on the front of drawers to identify the contents, which is a nice touch.. Darla Kenton. Chicago, IL. The Winstone 2 drawer lateral filing cabinet is both attractive and practical. It was, however, challenging to assemble taking over six hours. Not all of the pieces were labeled, diagrams could have been clearer, and some of the hardware was difficult to distinguish. The price was fair, but not a bargain. Joe. Stafford, VA. Thu Sep 10 2026

Kingston emanates an air of an English country manor. A dark chocolate rub-through finish is softly worn to enhance the wood and give a naturally aged look to the collection. Criss-cross detail adds interest and dimension to drawer fronts and panels, while mottled antique hardware enhances the look of the group.

This two drawer filing cabinet combines a natural vacuum formed wood grain with sleek metal handles and tapered legs to create a luxurious style that complements any interior. The filing cabinet comes with a spacious desktop and plenty of storage space, making it ideal for multi-scenario use in a home office or living room.

It took us 4 and half hours (both seniors) to put it together following the illustrations. It’s worth it as it looks good and matches the contemporary office table I got from Wayfair too. The only thing not good but doable are the 2 sliding sides are very hard to push open. I slide bath soap on the groove and it helped a little but not good enough. Otherwise i would have given it a 5 stars.. Lilian. Indio, CA. Sun Aug 09 2026

Nice heavy, solid piece of furniture. The bottom drawer slightly rubs and the lock for said drawer is not effective. The top drawer however, does work and does not rub.. Joseph Dillon. Monroe, CT. Mon Aug 03 2026
