It’s what I expected! I bought in 2 different colors. I do not care about the wrinkles in it my kids are young and don’t care. It is very light weight and fluffy that’s all my kids wanted. I did wash them first before I put them on. There wasn’t a smell but you should always wash bedding before laying in it. I love, love, love this set. My favorite color is purple and this set brightens my guestroom so much. I havent been able to get the curtains up yet because I need to install a curtain rod, but they are beautiful, just like the bedding and good quality. The only complaint I have is that the pillowcases arent as advertised. They are a different pattern than what the packaging shows, however, they still match the comforter, so it wasnt a big deal for me. You can see the difference in my pictures.
