Here’s the thing. This bed is good. But it has some quality control issues. When I took it out of the box, the headboard was scratched. That was disappointing. But that’s not all of it. The slats we’re not counter properly. Therefore, the washer would not cover the bolts. So I know at some point it’s going to be a problem. Also, there was one part for the nightstand that was just completely missing a screw hole altogether. They just didn’t bore the hole at all. It was so odd. That being said this is solid wood. We had to return it, and a full replacement shipment was sent, which delayed everything, including our assembly (which, of course, we still had to pay for). The new shipment did arrive with all the parts, but we also noticed some chipping and damage on the side. At that point, we decided to keep it because we were tired of going back and forth.
