I got a strap to push the mattresses together, but there was still a 6-7" gap in the middle caused by the bed frames. That caused a divot in the middle of the bed. Problem solved with this bed board. The queen-sized frame will have five (5) legs with the included center bar. The center bar for this frame is used side-to-side for queen bedding. This means this frame is not recommended for use with a split (2 pieces) box spring. The legs will adjust the frame height from 5 3/4" to 9 1/4" off the floor. Very soft and comfortable. You really dont notice its there while sleeping, and it does a great job filling the gap between split mattresses. The only minor downside is if one side of the adjustable bed is raised and the other isnt, it can shift a little—but thats expected with split adjustable beds, not a flaw with the product.
