I’m really happy with this bed. It was surprisingly easy to assemble, and all the pieces fit together well. Once assembled, the bed feels very sturdy and solid, and it looks even better in person. One of my favorite features is the storage drawer underneath the bed. The drawer has wheels, so it slides in and out very easily, and it’s perfect for storing extra blankets, pillows, clothes, or other things that I don’t want sitting around the room. There is Velcro along the slat area that helps keep everything securely in place, so the slats don’t move around easily when the bed is being used. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference. Me and my husband put the bed together and we got it done in about an hour. Once together we realized that we needed a little more support for our foam mattress because the metal slats were not wide and had to much space between them to give good support. We just put the cardboard the frame came in on top of the frame and it worked great. The frame is very sturdy and i needed that support being over 200 lbs. This bed works perfect for my son. I will say that it was quite difficult to put together though. Many of the screws did not line up great, making it a frustrating build.
