This is a nice looking real pine bed frame! The slats though for the mattress are particle board. It took my son 1 hour to put together! It seems sturdy, I guess time will tell. I’m getting used to how low it is, but overall I like it. I would not recommend this style of frame for a kids room because of the squared edges. They would certainly smash into them.
